Het oplossend vermogen van Duplicor®

Binnen de bouwsector kan het werken met composiet bouwmaterialen een oplossing bieden. Duplicor® biedt per direct een oplossing op drie deelgebieden;

 

1. Environment

Duplicor® is manufactured from agro waste. We therefore do not use crops grown specifically for the production of our composite. We use plant waste that had no function before. This ensures a very low carbon footprint. In addition, the foam core is made from recycled PET bottles, allowing us to make a major contribution to reducing the plastic soup. In addition, Duplicor® Composite has an incredibly long lifespan. Not only does it last a very long time, some smart companies include it in their construction in such a way that it can be used again and again. In addition, Duplicor® is extremely price-friendly (cheaper than aluminium).

Duplicor® is itself highly fire-retardant, making it the first composite without a fire retardant in the highest Euro fire class B.

2. Inflammable

One of the biggest problems so far is the flammability of composites. To comply with fire standards in construction, composite had to be provided with a thick package of fire-retardant layers as well as layers that ensure the right insulation values. Duplicor® is itself highly fire-retardant, making it the first composite without a fire retardant in the highest Euro fire class B. Because of these unique specific properties, we have to rethink the use of composite in construction. Lots of things that were previously impossible can now be done. It offers a countless number of new options and possibilities.

Up to 4x lighter than aluminium and up to 15 times lighter than concrete.

3. Lightweight

Duplicor® is a composite, so it is extremely light. Up to 4 times lighter than aluminium and up to 15 times lighter than concrete. Low weight brings savings that are enormous. Just think of the transport costs to the building site and the fuel savings it brings. But the low weight also allows more. Attaching a façade panel, with balcony, with all the technical extras (balcony fence, lighting, drainage, planters, integrated solar panels, etc.) to a building in a single hoisting movement saves a lot of work, time and fuel. If we could make everything we build 50% lighter, the savings would be huge and, as a construction sector, we would suddenly contribute enormously to a better environment. 

We therefore dare to say that Duplicor®'s ability to solve environmental issues in the construction industry is enormous.
